Hooked On Threads began in 2009. The original "founders" of Hooked On Threads were Laura Crenshaw Hudson, Sharon W. and another gal named Carolyn who has since moved to Houston. Judy, Letty & Bev joined shortly after the inception.
We were meeting at the Marble Falls library at that time. We decided that wasn't working out for us so we began looking for a different space. We tried a few things including the Methodist church & meeting at our homes. In early 2012 Letty & David decided to carve out a space in The Plaza just for us! How lucky are we? It was a fun & exciting time. We all pitched in to furnish the space donating things from our homes and purchasing what was needed. We all chipped in to purchase a mini fridge & other necessities. |
