Hooked On Threads, area sewing groups and Area Ladies Auxiliary Organizations are teaming up to provide quilts/lap robes for the Temple VA Hospital at Christmas. They will be given to wounded soldiers, including hospice patients and those suffering from mental issues. This project will make a great impact on the patients’ lives for years to come.
We will personally hand out the gifts at the Olin E. Teague Veterans’ Medical Center, Temple. The distribution date will be December 14th at 11 am in Temple for all those who would like to be there in person. More details are forthcoming.
