Last Monday the 1st, we celebrated Judy B's birthday at Francesco's. Great food & great fun! It was a few days late because Judy was out of town during her birthday. I am so sorry that I forgot my camera & didn't get any pics!! Hope to see everyone at the library on the 8th.
Sharon W will be in Austin Heart Hosp that day having a procedure to get her heart back in rhythm. So everyone keep her in your thoughts!!

Our meeting room in the library is not available in June. Next Monday the 20th it will be at Beverly's house. Call or email for directions.
Thanks to Sharon C for a wonderful time on June 6 & such yummy food!! And Letty hosted last week with a great time for all who were there & again with delicious food. You gals are making it a challenge for me to compete with such good cooks!  Monday was a birthday celebration for Alice. The gals went to Bella Sera for lunch & then back to the library for cake & gifties. Lillie made this gorgeous cross for Alice!
 Queen Sarah Last Monday could have been a real downer but we all managed to salvage it & had a great time!! Sarah was a trooper to have us all invade her home with no advance warning! We had our yummy salads & played our White elephant gift exchange & had a great time. Some of us even knitted/crocheted a little bit.
I'm behind again!! Phyllis modeled her Red Hot Cape & it was gorgeous!! We had 8 or 9 last week. Judy B brought her mother in law, Lily who was crocheting some amazing tiny crosses to be sent to China with a missionary friend. Next Monday the 18th is the salad luncheon party for Sarah's birthday. Bring a salad, some yarn, flower patterns if you have them, wear a crazy hat & a crazy outfit (per Sarah's request) and bring a gag gift if you want to participate in some silliness!! It'll be fun guaranteed!!   Great fun on Monday with lunch at Margarita's for Phyllis' birthday! On the 18th or 25th (tbd) we will have a salad luncheon at the library for Sarah's birthday. Everyone bring a funny or gag gift (wrapped) & we will have an exchange.
We had a great time on Monday! Y'all should've been there!! We had Sarah, Letty, Georgia, Bev & new Sharon. Sarah was working on her awesome bedspread & she's more than halfway done. I'm sure it's getting so cumbersome to carry now but we all love seeing it so much. Georgia was working on her practice piece and she frogged it so she's ready to begin a real project. Sharon was working on a shawl & she needed Phyllis' help!! It seems that Judy B, Alice & Phyllis were playing hooky that day. Next Monday the 4th we are going to meet for lunch at 11 o'clock at Margarita's in Marble Falls to celebrate Phyllis' birthday. Phyllis sent Catherine a card & invited her also so hope we get to see her again!  Lovely Sarah & her lovely bedspread |
